Derek Nyvold is a dedicated financial advisor committed to helping individuals and families achieve financial stability and reach their financial goals. Born and raised in Maple Grove, Derek spent much of his time in the Brainerd Lakes area, fostering a deep appreciation for the community.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Minnesota State University and went on to build a successful 12-year career in accounting and management within the swimming pool industry in Des Moines, IA. While he gained valuable financial and business expertise, he always had a passion for helping people navigate their financial futures.

That passion led him back to the Brainerd Lakes area, where he now lives and works, turning his lifelong dream into reality. As a financial advisor, Derek takes a personalized approach, guiding clients toward financial security and helping them build a solid foundation for the future.
