Samantha Simons, CRES

Samantha (Sam) Simons is a financial advisor and client services associate with EFS Advisors. Her career in financial services began in 2007 in the back office of EFS in Cambridge, Minnesota, where she wore many hats and gained valuable experience across the industry. Soon after, she became a licensed financial advisor, earning her Series 6, 63, and 65 registrations, along with her Life and Health Insurance license—adding yet another hat to the wardrobe.

Sam began servicing clients from the home office while building a client base of her own. She enjoys helping individuals and families work toward their long-term financial goals and finds it especially rewarding to help clients feel more confident in understanding their finances, investing, and planning for retirement. For Sam, financial planning is about more than numbers—it’s about helping people understand their options and create a plan for the future that feels right for them.

Sam graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul with a B.A. degree and is a member of the National Tax Shelter Accounts Association (NTSA).

Sam lives in Cambridge with her husband and three sons. As a longtime “boymom,” life has evolved from frogs, dirt, and noise to busy days spent cheering from the sidelines and stands. Her boys are involved in football, swimming, baseball, and track & field, which keeps the family calendar full throughout the year. Her husband owns and operates a welding shop and is equally involved in the boys’ activities, coaching football, baseball, and track. Together, Sam and her husband enjoy being part of their kids’ activities and watching them grow, compete, and pursue the things they love.

When they aren’t at a game, meet, or practice, the Simons family enjoys spending time together outdoors and making memories along the way. In her own downtime, Sam enjoys being outside, reading on the front porch, a clean house, and a little bit of quiet—but after raising three boys, not too much quiet.
