Sam Mazuk

Sam grew up in Eastern Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He went on to earn his Master’s degree in Public Policy. He has worked with several State Senators and Representatives, gaining valuable experience in both policy and financial planning. Sam enjoys working with clients to implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to support each individual’s needs.

He believes in planning not only for the short term, but also for the long term and well into retirement. He is passionate about helping educators and their families understand how insurance, 403(b)s, pensions, and other investments fit into a solid financial strategy.

Sam lives in Marion with his wife, Anastazia. The two were married in Hanalei, Hawaii, in early 2025. They share a love for traveling, hunting, and fishing, and enjoy spending time with their Chihuahua, Wylie. He still tries to make it to a Hawkeye football game every year.
