Mark was born and raised in Minnesota and is currently living in Savage with his wife, Grace, and daughter, Emma. Mark’s commitment to financial planning services is shaped by two major influences. First, his father-in-law and mentor, Jim Lutz, a thirty-year plus veteran in the insurance and securities industries, encouraged Mark to pursue his Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses. Jim is generously sharing the business acumen and client-centered approach to financial planning that has made him a trusted professional in his field. Second, Mark’s background as a Master Planner and Buyer for a Minnesota-based, high-tech manufacturing firm has helped him understand the importance of close attention to detail to a client’s needs in complex situations. With this background, Mark brings to the table a natural aptitude and appreciation for meticulous, timely planning and execution of any given plan.

Away from the office, Mark is an avid outdoorsman seeking relaxation and self-awareness through his engagements with the wonders of nature. As the son of a Lutheran pastor ministering to a local Minneapolis area church, Mark was raised with an understanding of the importance of earning the trust of others through being mindful of their interests.
