Kent Schutte, CFP®, ChFC, CLU, TGPC

As the founder and CEO of EFS Advisors® and Aviben®, Kent has been working with educators and nonprofit and governmental plans since 1985. Kent is nationally recognized as a speaker on financial matters and for his expertise in implementing 403(b) match programs, special pay plans, severance programs, and early retirement benefits. He is a past president of the National Tax-Deferred Savings Association (NTSA) and holds LUTCF®, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®, and TGPC designations.

EFS Advisors consists of nearly 50 financial advisors who manage assets in excess of $2.6 billion. Aviben is a TPA that specializes in the administration of 403(b) plans, health reimbursement arrangements, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, and COBRA.

Kent and his wife, Lynn (a retired behavior analyst/autism consultant), live in Cambridge, Minnesota, and are devoted to their three children and eight grandchildren.
